Asian Oyster mushroom Stir Fry

Ingredients :
  • 200g oyster mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 red chilies, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and chopped red chilies (if using) and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced oyster mushrooms to the wok and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture over the mushrooms and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and coated the mushrooms.
  6. Serve the oyster mushroom stir-fry hot, garnished with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
